Airlink Aviation College ( Plane Crash ) Mark Dennis Garcia

On Thursday, August 28, a Tomahawk Plane crashed, owned by the Airlink Aviation College. The student pilot Mark Dennis Garcia died on the said accident he is only 18 years old. His body was recovered on Friday morning... this incident could be a pilot error, plane misfunction, or whatever reason anybody can think of. Whatever the reason maybe, this is so devastating, he is so young, with full of dreams, dreaming of becoming a pilot someday. This is a waste. My son who is enrolled in the same school came home with this news, he is so affected, although he is taking up AMT (aircraft maintenance technology) he said he sees Dennis inside the school playing ping-pong or just walking pass by him, he feels so bad about it. I, as a mother is also concern, all enrollees of Airlink are required to be taken to Lubang, in Occ. Mindoro, twice every semester for freshmen, once for 2nd year and required to stay for 3 days or less, a waiver is also required to be singned by us. A waiver which indicates that the school will not be responsible if something bad happened while on the said trip, is this fair? although I know the school will do all their best and precautions on keeping the trip safe, Iam not comfortable every time my son leaves the house for Lubang, what more with this news?

Pokwang (joey deleon aswang)

People have heard about this for sure, negative comments are given to Joey Deleon. This is what he is looking forward to, ATTENTION!!!... and everybody is giving it to him (just like me lol). I will not be commenting about him anymore... This post is for Pokwang... Pokwang Iam one of your fans, everyday you make me laugh and forget about anything that bothers me. Me and my kids are looking forward to see what costume you will be wearing for the day. I know being a comedian is a gift and being a comedian is not easy, people expect a joke or humor from you whether youre are ok or not. I remember what Dolphy told to an interviewer... "if you use green jokes to make people laugh then youre not a comedian" and that is joey deleon's style (jerk). The last time you had a show in Melbourne with Chocolate my sick sister in law watch your show she send as SMS just to tell me she enjoyed every bit of your show and she even forgot she was sick... I thank you for that...

Keep it up Girl...

MADONNA the Material Girl is turning 50

Yes, the Queen of Pop is turning 50 on the 16th of August. Me and my friends during our high school days danced to her music, sing her songs, teeage years are gone but she is still up there, can still sing and dance have a lively concerts and best of all she had a single and a music video with Justin Timberlake who was a toddler when she started singing.

This song became her first Top Ten hit in March of 1984.

Borderline music video

On 1984 the Album "Like A Virgin" was produced, it was the time the Madonna Fever started, her style was seen everywhere the lace tops, thick eyeliner and fishnet stockings.

Desperate Housewives Coming To A Stop After Seventh Season

Teri Hatcher Desperate Housewives fans hold your breath! The series will come to an end at the end of the seventh series. The good news is that the show begins its fifth season on Thursday at Studio 23, so we still have three full seasons left.
There will be some major switch on the story, Eva Longoria or known as Gabby will have 2 grown children and still be married to Carlos Solis. On this season Gabby will not be the sexy babe as we all know, she have gained weight awwww, but only on this show she's still sexy as ever.
Marcia Cross, known as Bree will see herself as Martha Stewart... I don't know what this really means maybe she will making more muffins and be more house cleaning maniac.
Teri Hatcher, known as Susan who is married to the plumber Mike Delfino, they had a baby last season, right?
Felicity Huffman, as Lynnette who has cancer on the last season, which she was trying to hide the condition from her friends, just like Bree who hid the pregnancy of her daughter and she pretend she was the one who was Pregnant. On the end they both opened up and the story continues. Lynnette with 4 kids plus the illegitimate child of Tom (the witchie kid lol) now are teenagers.
Edie, last season there was a hint that she will leaving the Wisteria Lane, Edie is the spice of the series, Edie being the one who would like to have a "taste" with all the man in the neighborhood will be a big lost in the story if she leaves.

It's 08-08-08 Beijing Olympics is Officially Open

Today is August 8, 2008... lucky day which can only happen once in a 100 years, according to Chinese people which I know many people agree. Number 8 is lucky because when we write the number we start from the top and ends on the top also. Here are some photos I found on the internet...

some people just can't enough ha... this is a human canvass for the olympics... Beijing Olympics is only for 17 days ( August 8 to Aug. 24 ) and his tatoos will be for life...

The "Bird's Nest" is one of the most difficult steel structure masterpieces in the world. Its construction was completely undertaken by the Chinese alone. Using their cerebal and manual powers, the Chinese workers created a building with the optimal visual effect: a metal edifice made to look like a bird's nest. This is indeed an immense architectural feat, unprecedented in sporting history. As a witness to the 2008 Olympic Games, the "Bird's Nest" is of large historic significance. As such, a metal model of the "Bird's Nest" is very much worth adding to any souvenir collection. The metal plates that accompany the models as labels are made from residual steel left over from the construction of the actual site. The officially licensed products, ranging from medium to large sizes, were put on sale in licensed stores on September 19, 2007.

Angelina's Twins Photo (Vivienne and Knox)

Vivienne & Knox

First Photo: Meet Vivienne & Knox Jolie-Pitt Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt

Shilo's (first born baby of Angelina and Brad) photo costs $6 Million. $14 Million for the twins... Children really are a blessing lol. Infairness to Brangelina... the money collected from the photos will go to Charity as they said.

With a big family of 8, I wonder how they are in the house, even with nanies kids will be kids. I salute the couple for adopting 3 kids... lot of rich people dont bother about loving other peoples children. Giving help to charities is just giving money, but to take a kid home is a different thing. MABUHAY! Brangelina.

FLYLEAF ALBUM (Happy Listening)

I have been busy with so many things inside the house when I heared my son listening to music... I dont really like alternative rock musics but this one is interesting. Interesting enough so I decided to post about them. The lead vocalist Lacey Mosley... God! what a voice... I just hope she had turned her back on drugs totally.

The Album "Flyleaf" was released on October 4, 2005, their third single "All Around Me" topped their first 2 singles which were the "Im so Sick" and "Fully Alive", and on 2007 the album was re-released CD/DVD versions. I have prepared a playlist... ENJOY!

mama's drama

On September this year It will my 19th year of being married. How time flies my eldest will be 18 my other son will be 16 next month, they are growing up so fast and there are times they are out with their friends just like their father and Iam left alone in the house.

No more feeding bottles, no more nappies, and no more cribs in the house, I dont buy toys anymore they ask for colognes, shaving creams and things for grown ups. We used to share rooms, 2 big beds in our room for the 5 of us, when my 2 boys ask for their own room, It was the start... my boys are growing up! When I go to malls they cry when they are not with me, now I beg for them to come with me and lot of times I go out alone. I used to decide what shirt they will wear, what kind of shoes to buy, now they dont agree with my "taste" anymore. Last month my eldest was picked up from our house by his friend who has a car to spend a night in a resort, and I just realized my son has his own world, his own life, his own peers and no body can stop it, I know this will happen but I did'nt know It will be this soon.

When they were small somebody told me.. enjoy your kids, so little time to be with them, one day they will be gone and make their own life in this world. It is so true!

On the other hand, when they were small our relationship is mother and child, now we can talk like friends, we laugh, we argue like grown ups.

I have read an article about the wives putting their children first before the husband, Iam one of them, the article said husband/wife should be the priority because one day the children will leave the house for their own family and the 2 of you will be left. It's true is'nt? In my case, hayyy I think Iam only one in this family who has'nt established or not prepared and still not preparing when the time comes, Ive been very busy with my kids, husband, house and forget to communicate with other people outside the family like my friends who has been trying to find time to spend with me but I always say Iam very busy. My husband is doing very good with his job he is a manager of a co. and sorrounded with people who "needs" his attention and time, so many birthdays, fiesta, and more gatherings to attend to, which he said he cannot say "no". When he is the house he is always tired, no time to hear my stories with what happen to me the whole day Iam in the house.

Sometimes I regret I let other people decide for me, well that is the filipino tradition, I hate it! I thought it was the right thing to do, it was not.

Now, my sentiment is.... what am I going to do with my life after motherhood?

My Daughter

It was in October 1995 when the big day happened... i gave birth to a baby girl, my only girl after 2 boys. Ive been praying for a girl when I learned that I was pregnant for the 3rd time and the prayer was granted! It took a week just to pick a name for her.... and finally Ive decided to call her Michaella... my princess.

For me, she was the most beautiful baby girl Ive ever seen... after 1 1/2 years the signs are being noticed, no eye contact, does not talk she only screams very hyperactive child. Well at that time I thought it was normal and as a defense... she's late. On Christmas Day 1997, a relative told me to have her check by a doctor they were suspecting she's deaf, I know shes not, even without the doctors opinion but I also know there is a problem... deeper problem.

On January 1998 she was diagnosed having AUTISM a lifelong disability... that day was indescribable the pain was so intense my whole world collapsed... my tears flowed like a river I cannot believe that my daughter, my only daughter is autistic.

I went to seminars listen to the speakers very carefully... I bought books about it. Went to Special School and enroll her, she was only 2 years 8 mos. when she was enrolled. We went from school to school, therapist to therapist.

Now shes 12 yrs old and still in SpEd.I can proudly say she has improved beyond my expectations, her self help is excellent, she feeds herself (even cooks simple dishes) she uses the computer (shes always on youtube) she can read, she can do simple math, she speaks some words but cannot express herself fully.

If anybody has a question or if you can share some about autism please do so...

Info on Autism

My Blog Sea Shell is about my daughter Michaella, a 12 year old girl with autism, this guy really bothers me he has no idea how our heart bleed because of her condition, I know all he wants is the attention and he is getting it... if you're interested to know autism you can click on sea shell and to know autism a bit... thanks

Autism a Fraud??? by Michael Savage

This man does'nt know what he is talking about, this man is really making me angry, how can he say autism is a fraud? My daughter has autism she was diagnosed when she was only 27 months old, now she's 12 and still cannot engage in conversations. This Michael Savage talks about autism without any basis. his father was right about him he is an IDIOT and STUPID.

SAVAGE: Now, you want me to tell you my opinion on autism, since I'm not talking about autism? A fraud, a racket. For a long while, we were hearing that every minority child had asthma. Why did they sudden -- why was there an asthma epidemic amongst minority children? Because I'll tell you why: The children got extra welfare if they were disabled, and they got extra help in school. It was a money racket. Everyone went in and was told [fake cough], "When the nurse looks at you, you go [fake cough], 'I don't know, the dust got me.' " See, everyone had asthma from the minority community. That was number one.

Now, the illness du jour is autism. You know what autism is? I'll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. That's what autism is.
What do you mean they scream and they're silent? They don't have a father around to tell them, "Don't act like a moron. You'll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don't sit there crying and screaming, idiot."

Autism -- everybody has an illness. If I behaved like a fool, my father called me a fool. And he said to me, "Don't behave like a fool." The worst thing he said -- "Don't behave like a fool. Don't be anybody's dummy. Don't sound like an idiot. Don't act like a girl. Don't cry." That's what I was raised with. That's what you should raise your children with. Stop with the sensitivity training. You're turning your son into a girl, and you're turning your nation into a nation of losers and beaten men. That's why we have the politicians we have.

Autumn thank you very much for tagging me, this is such a nice gift.

Here's my only "Brillante Weblog"

1. A Filipina Mom Blogger - for a great blog!

Prepaid electricity

This morning accdg. to Umagang Kayganda, there will be a preapaid electricity in our country, is this good? I think it is... Prepaid means pay first before use, so if we are on prepaid we will consume less. And also the electric co. will no longer be the victim of those electric thieves... so we will not be paying the system loss anymore.. perfect! more goodness about this.. the electric co. will be shouldering the cost of prepaid meters and no deposits will be collected for this.

try this you will be surprised... i was

Online Burol

As I was reading the Sunday news paper, lots of news, all about the oil price hike (what"s new?) politics etc etc... but you know what caught my attention not to mention how big my eyes were when I saw the advertisement, this was the online burol or e-burol at St. Peter Memorial Chapels.. technology has reached the dead too huh... if we talk about the cost of traveling, this is cheaper I agree.. but what happen to our tradition... the filipino culture? When I condole I should be there, when I condole I give a hug or a tap on the shoulder... how can this be possible via webcams? Well maybe Iam getting old and not ready for changes...

Just now I discovered that my son banned me from visiting his blog, I felt so sad, but ofcourse I understand maybe he wants to express himself and he cannot do that if Iam able to read his posts. My son, Iam very proud of you, no matter what..

Rainy Day

Each day I leave the bed at 5am, to prepare breakfast for my kids and also a cup of coffee for my husband,,, since this morning the sky is lonely, the clouds are dark, then it started to drizzle... It is very comforting as if this tiny droplets of water is giving my heart a gentle caress... I love the rain, why? When I'am having a heavy heart and Iam full of negative emotions I feel like the rain is crying for me, it takes away the humidity around me and when I grab a sweater to clothe myself It feels like someone is holding me close.

Looking for somebody?

I have found a site where anybody can publish the name or any information about the person they are searching for, I think this site can help us locate the person, by chance? We can never tell...

Yesterday while I was in the store I saw a teenager, a teenager who looks older than me lol that is a bit exaggerated, anyway... what I was trying to say is young people are in a hurry to be an adult while the older ones are acting like a child. Funny it may seem but I understand why. At first I thought this is because people cannot be satisfied with anything but on the second thought this is all about FREEDOM. When I was on my teenage years, I felt the same way I cannot wait to be an adult so there will be no rules and regulations to follow, I can do my own decisions, no more school and above all I can be on my own. Now, I'll be 38 on the 19th, married with my 3 great children, Iam the one implementing the rules, I still dont do the decisions my husband is the one doing that, Iam the one handling all the responsibilities in the house and if I fail as a mother and as a wife it will be my family who will suffer, and also let's not forget as an adult the skin is beggining to sag, the joints are starting to ache. I day dream about going back to school and then I realized the freedom everybody is looking for are the school days .... when I was a student all I care is my studies, I can be with my friends everyday, I can express myself very well without second thought, bills, food and chores are not my problem.
This is only an experience I would like to share to all young people, dont rush things enjoy every bit of your youth nobody can ever go back to highschool days, the best days of our life. Adulthood will come and once you're their I wish you would never have to tell yourself "If only I can go back".

Water as Fuel

Last November 14 the Honda Debuts All-New FCX Clarity Advanced Fuel Cell Vehicle
Dynamic styling and performance herald major advances for fuel cell vehicles; limited marketing to begin next summer. In Los Angeles, it will cost $600 per month, including maintenance and collision insurance.

Anybody knows who invented the engine that use water instead of fuel??? It was a filipino, but it wasnt developed in the Philippines it was sold to the Japanese since the Philippine government cannot afford or maybe not interested on the invention, so sad to think we the filipinos didnt give any attention to this and now the Japanese is the one introducing it to the world.

A Thing At A Time

I was born in 1970, after 3 days of my life my mom gave me to a chinese man for an adoption... most people say i am so lucky... lucky? i am thankful and blessed for he raised me, feed me and send to good schools. Now, i am almost 38 yrs. old married with 3 kids,
LUCKY... a big word with deep meanings... what is luck? winning the lottery... finding the love of your life... success in life and career... for me luck is just to see how my mom looks like... my life from the very start is tough.. tough enough that i experienced being rediculed, words which your heart will be thorn, crying without tears because i ran out of it, believe me or not until now it happen, when there are issues some people use it against me and say harsh words to me. And they even have nothing to do with it...
ADOPTION... to adopt a child is an act of humility,,, adopting a child is not only for food, house etc. it is a huge obligation, for my experience, i was fed well... but i grew up alone, i wasnt treated as a family member, since i was taken without legal papers i always here the word.. your have no right... the words ampon (adopted), singaw (came from no where), sampid. I am not a kid anymore but the feeling stays maybe ill die with it, if i will be given a chance to choose.. it should have been better if i have died before i was born, everybody see me smile, laugh, a strong person who fight but inside i bleed,,, i am bleeding since my childhood, and i can feel i will snap anytime... if i let this pull me down a bit deeper i could go insane... i am being tortured by depression and self pity... i am fighting this feeling for my children they are young and i know they still need my love and protection.
Let me picture the feeling i have and im sure some can relate to this.... the feeling being alone, no relative, no blood connections,... no body to run to if i needed some comfort... i have no identity, i dont even know what my race is, everything about me before my marriage are fake...there is a filipino tradition the " utang na loob" this means if anybody gave a favor it is not payable by anything... this is what i need to deal with, i give and give, result? nothing is left for me... i am not talking about money only... everything!!! i am so empty inside and out...
Ill try to survive... i do a thing at a time...

hot day!!!

Today... me and my son went to a bank to claim his Pay Pal Atm card and also to deposit a little amt. to activate the account... God! its so hot outside 92F... i hate summer... this is why iam planning to go to Europe next week ha ha only in my dreams... iam in the Philippines... a 3rd world country... a poor country but a very BIG BUT... according to survey we the Filipinos are the 11th most happy people in the world... why??? because most of the filipinos dont take life seriously they are satisfied with a daily life basis meaning no work today no food to eat, got it??... sad to say but its true... and maybe that is the reason why we are a poor country... can u believe we had a president who cannot even speak english well... guess who???

  • Only in recent years has science discovered that everything we see is composed of invisible atoms. Here, Scripture tells us that the "things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
  • Medical science has only recently discovered that blood-clotting in a newborn reaches its peak on the eighth day, then drops. The Bible consistently says that a baby must be circumcised on the eighth day.
  • At a time when it was believed that the earth sat on a large animal or a giant (1500 B.C.), the Bible spoke of the earth’s free float in space: "He...hangs the earth upon nothing" (Job 26:7).
  • Luke 17:34–36 says the Second Coming of Jesus Christ will occur while some are asleep at night and others are working at daytime activities in the field. This is a clear indication of a revolving earth, with day and night at the same time.
